Web Browser
We're building a better way to access the Internet
Our Beliefs
The Internet has long become the source of truth for humanity. It provides information that entertains, informs, and shapes our worldview.
Web browsers - the primary tool to access the Internet - have stagnated in terms of new features. Innovations have largely happened under-the-hood: speed improvements & better privacy controls. These are very important enhancements, no doubt, but the core functionality of Web browsers have remained the same for decades despite major technological shifts like mobile devices becoming one of the most popular ways to browse the Web.
When visiting a website on mobile, many companies will prompt you to download and use their app instead. This is not a sign that mobile Web browsers are becoming obsolete. Apps and mobile websites will continue to coexist as they both have different strengths. Websites work well with search engines- letting them link to the exact content you're looking for. Websites are generally faster to navigate because they provide a consistent user-interface that we all know (e.g. links take you to a new page, the back button takes you to the previous one, the URL indicates what page you're on, etc). Mobile Web browsers, like their desktop counterparts, are here to stay.
We believe there are many ways to build a better browser. Audio is just the beginning.
